Native Peoples of the Woodlands explores the history, culture, and legacy of the first People of the Woodlands. The program was taped on-location at a First People’s Living History Museum. Students will learn about the daily lives of these native peoples. Students will discover how these people adapted to the woodland environment using all its natural resources. Students tour the different types of homes that were built and the living conditions inside. The program also explores how these people hunted, fished, and gathered food. Students will also learn about the clothing that was worn, as well as the customs and beliefs of these people. (12:47)
